List of monarchs of Mangareva

This is a list of monarchs of Mangareva of the Gambier Islands of Polynesia until the island's annexation by France in 5 July 1881. Although there were other monarchs of the Gambier Islands like Taravai, the kings of Mangareva were considered of the highest ranking. The islands kings and chiefs were called ''akariki''.
